Our mission focus in August will be for the IM World Mission Offering 2026.

The World Missions Offering (WMO) is one means of funding the purpose of the Mission— planting churches overseas. The National Association of Free Will Baptists has designated the last Sunday in April for churches across the denomination to receive a significant offering for International Missions.

Mission offerings are accepted in-person or online until August 31st.

Give online directly to the IM National office, or through the church website.

Daniel and Kate Speer

Japan

Daniel and Kate Speer met at Free Will Baptist Bible College (now Welch College) in the Fall of 2006. They were married in 2008 and were called to Japan to share the gospel with Japanese people in 2011. Since then, they have had three kids: Audrey, Analeigh, and Owen…and now have a fourth one on the way! Kate grew up in Japan as the child of veteran missionaries Donnie and Ruth McDonald, who has served the Lord with IM for over 35 years.

The Speers are returning to serve in Hokkaido, Japan’s northernmost island. The climate there is often cold and snowy, yet the island is also home to Japan’s fifth-largest city: Sapporo
